Description
We are looking to hire an experienced electrical estimator.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop comprehensive project proposals
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Identify and quantify project risks and opportunities
- Prepare detailed take-offs and material quantity estimates
- Research and source pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Prepare cost breakdowns and pricing summaries for client presentations
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and post-bid negotiations
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
Skills:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in reading construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Familiarity with construction software and estimating tools, particularly Accubid
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management abilities

Salary: $69,531.00 - $76,103.00 per year
