Job Overview:
One of the fastest growing BMS controls contractors in NY/NJ/CT, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Service Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving service sales and developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our company by promoting our service offerings and ensuring customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in BMS controls and a proven track record of managing service operations in the building automation industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for service contracts and maintenance agreements in the BMS control industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored service solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends, staying updated with competitors' offerings and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with the service and engineering teams to understand technical aspects and capabilities of the company's service offerings, effectively communicating these to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotes to clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our services.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring that terms and conditions align with company policies and profitability targets.
- Monitor and report on sales activities and market trends, providing insights and recommendations to the management team for continuous improvement and strategic planning.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the company's presence and build a strong professional network within the BMS control industry.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or experience in related field.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience in the building automation industry, preferably with a focus on BAS (Honeywell experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of technical aspects related to building management systems and controls.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas within a competitive market.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for tracking and managing leads and sales pipelines.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
